The new fire pit is almost complete.
Went out and started digging after work today- this one is going to look good (thanks to a donation from 40 and transportation/carrying/nudging from Flat Tires and BBW). Seeing the old 1/2 55 gallon drum next to this one is night and day...
BRING ON THE PALLETS!

Firepit = complete.
And it is a beaut. Because it is sunk in, there may not be as free an oxygen flow. But there is plenty of room in there for LOTS of fuel. Can't wait to break it in!
Oh- before I forget- does anyone want to sleep in the aforementioned fire pit on Friday night? If so, I will refrain from lighting it up until then. We can build the fire pit into a fort. Then burn said fort.
burning a fort=our own private 'burning man' festival. ummm... while I don't want to sleep in a pallet fort I will contribute two pallets to said project.
